Popie Matsouka
FOUNDER
Meet Popie, our Founder and Team Leader. Popie has been in the industry for 25 years and has experience in different roles (translator, QA specialist, subtitler, project manager, file engineer), thus obtaining a 360-degree perspective on all things translation. She is a member of the ATA and the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP), and she has co-led the launching of the Women in Localization Greece Chapter, where she has also served as Chapter Manager. She is a Mentor in PEEMPIP’s Mentoring Program and also a volunteer in the CPD Program committee. When she is not training and guiding the team, managing complex projects, or translating specialized medical and pet care content, she enjoys learning new skills, helping at local animal shelters, and playing endlessly with her dog, Nalla.
Chrysanthemi Michali
Senior Project Manager
Introducing Chrysanthemi, a skilled Project Manager and the Lead of our PM team. Originally a linguist and an enthusiastic audiovisual translator, her daily tasks now include taking care of multiple translation and localization projects, helping the team resolve technical issues and providing them with feedback on operational aspects of their work. She loves staying up to date with the latest developments in technology, attending industry events and even helping organize them. She has served as the Social Media Manager of Women in Localization Greece Chapter and is an active member of the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP). In her leisure time, she enjoys long walks by the river with her four-legged companion since childhood, Chiara the Dog.
Nikoleta Kolovou
Project and Social Media Manager
This is Nikoleta, a dedicated Project Manager and translator/editor with a flair for finance content. She is an expert in the use of multiple translation tools, who quickly rose from a junior to an independent project manager by proving her excellent organization and time-management skills. Complex, time-sensitive projects are in good hands with Nikoleta. When not working or reading literature (a true bookworm!), you can find her cuddling up with her beloved fur babies, Phineas and Furb, two sibling cats whom she rescued from a dangerous street and has cared for ever after.
Marilena Kardara
QA Specialist and Social Media Manager
Meet Marilena, our talented multilingual Quality Assurance and Testing specialist. With her keen eye for detail, she excels in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our projects across international markets. She finds checking right-to-left languages and creating complex, client-specific QA settings especially fulfilling because they allow her to tackle difficulties and learn new skills in a productive and constructive way. She is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP). When not meticulously checking files or blogging, you can find her planning her next trips or embracing the joy of being a dog owner: Takis was a stray dog who knocked on her door many years ago and forever won her heart.
Maya Bountza
Medical Translator
Get to know Maya, a specialized medical translator working with English, French and Greek, who is dedicated to making a difference in the world through her work on healthcare. Maya specializes in the translation of clinical trials and studies, constantly honing her already-superb language and research skills. Flexible and adaptable, she is able to figure out and work in any translation software available and make the best use of its features. She is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP), enjoys listening to music from all over the world and is parent to 4 super-cute cats: Shelby (rescued at an early age, constantly opening all doors), Lucy (the neighborhood mascot, rescued young as well), and Lucy’s kittens, Mitsos and Fatty (who possesses both deadly sins of gluttony and sloth).
Nikos Kyparissis
Senior Project Manager
Introducing Nikos, an extra-diligent, dedicated project manager, specializing in demanding, time-sensitive projects. Bringing five years of experience on multilingual projects to the table, he possesses strong communication and juggling skills, and places great importance in the correct preparation of a project or account and in the meeting of client requirements. He is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP). When he isn’t carefully putting together translation resources, Nikos loves to watch TV shows and hang out with friends, and is well-known in his neighborhood for feeding the strays and keeping an eye out for them.
Angelina Kourti
Technical Translator and Project Manager
Meet Angelina, our passionate marketing translations expert. With her solid background in translation studies and deep understanding of the advertising world, she brings a unique perspective to our team. Apart from her native Greek, she is fluent in English and German. She is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP), where she volunteers her services in the Mentoring Program organization committee. When not brainstorming on the best way to localize campaign copy or attending translation-related webinars, you can find her chasing her dog Emma, who climbs onto the kitchen table and counters, when no one watches, and eats anything she finds.
Penny Karagiannidi
Vendor and Operations Manager
This is Penny, our dedicated Translation Vendor Manager and expert recruiter of freelance partners. With her keen eye for talent and extensive network, she ensures that our team collaborates with top-notch linguists and other professionals to deliver exceptional translation services. Her experience in Project and Operations Management allows her to perfectly understand the needs of clients and PMs and find the proper people to handle the tasks. She is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP) and the Social Media Manager for Women in Localization Greece Chapter. She enjoys mentoring young peers and meeting new people. In her free time, she runs after her two absolutely feral monkeys, aka children.

An expert in marketing translation and transcreation, she works with English and French, and is a full member of ATA, EALTA, TESOL Greece and the Panhellenic Association of Professional Translators Graduates of the Ionian University (PEEMPIP). She has a dog and loves horses.
English, German - Expert Life Sciences Translator - Cat guardian Foteini has a BA and MA degree in Specialized Translation Studies and works with English, German, Greek, and Spanish (EU). She specializes in the translation and localization of medical and pharmaceutical content and has proven experience in beauty and cosmetics as well. She has a cat, and she adores it.
English, French - Expert Life Sciences Translator - Dog owner Christina is a Translation Studies graduate with 20 years of experience. Apart from being an expert medical translation, with a specialization in clinical studies, she is also an audiovisual translator. Her working languages are English, French, and Greek. Her dog is like a member of her family.
English, French - Expert Life Sciences Translator - Cat parent Dimitra is a linguist with 20 years of experience in Life Sciences and Law. She holds a BA in Translation Studies and two Master’s degrees from European Universities. Her languages are English, French, Italian, and Greek, and she works on multiple CAT-tools in the company of her two cats.
English, German - Expert Marketing Translator - Dog parent Elisavet holds a BA in English Language and Literature and a MA in Translation Studies. She has worked as a digital and multimedia editor, translator and interpreter for more than 10 years. She is the Mentoring and Education Manager of Women in Localization Greece Chapter. Her fields of specialization are Marketing, Software and Finance.
Erietta holds a BA in French Language and Literature and a Diploma in Translation Studies. She has been working as a translator and localization expert for 10 years, her favorite types of texts being medical, e-learning and marketing ones. She is familiar with many translation tools and loves to hone her skills by taking seminars and courses.
